This policy explains how Silent Studio handles the personal data you share on silent-studio.net, through the contact form and the application form ("Join us").

1. Who is responsible

Silent Studio SAS, 200 rue de la Croix Nivert, 75015 Paris, France (SIREN 999 511 785). Contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
  • Application form: the team you apply to, your Discord username, your email address, your answers, the files you upload, and your choices on the consent boxes.
  • Technical data: to protect the forms against abuse, your IP address is used to count requests for a short time, in memory only, and is never stored. Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, also processes it.
  • No cookies: the site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

  • Reviewing your application: your consent, given with the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Keeping your application for future openings: only if you tick the optional box (consent).
  • Replying to your message: our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.
  • Protecting the site against abuse: our legitimate interest.

4. Who can see it

  • Your application is read by the leads of the team you apply to and by the studio's management, in our internal staff tool. If you are accepted, our Discord bot opens a private channel with you on our Discord server.
  • Your message is read by the studio's support team.
  • Providers acting on our behalf: OVH (hosting, France), Cloudflare (site delivery and file storage) and Resend (delivery of contact form emails). Cloudflare and Resend are US companies: transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
  • We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.

5. How long we keep it

  • Application not selected: deleted 6 months after our decision, or up to 2 years after it if you ticked the "future openings" box.
  • Application selected: kept while you are a member of the team.
  • Application never processed: deleted 1 year after you sent it.
  • Files uploaded but never sent with an application: deleted automatically after 24 hours.
  • Contact messages: up to 3 years after our last exchange.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what was done before). Write to [email protected], ideally from the email address used in your application. We answer within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

7. Age

You must be at least 16 years old to apply. We do not accept applications from anyone younger.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Applications are only accessible to signed-in staff with the right role, and uploaded files are stored privately.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and its date.
